Youth bike—and sometimes receive citations
Comments below are from some of the participants in a Bicycling Monterey project, Alternative to Fine for Traffic Citations. To date we provide this alternative free of charge (as with all Bicycling Monterey projects for more than 15 years). This saves cited individuals the cost of Monterey County Court fines, which have ranged from $183 to $400.
