One woman’s account about bike-and-ride

A Carmel resident who teaches at Monterey Peninsula College shared the following experience:

Commuting to work by bicycle is not feasible for me, but I’m always thinking about ways to reduce my carbon footprint. A couple weeks ago I had an afternoon appointment that was about 4 miles from my work. I planned ahead and loaded my bike on my car, then I biked (in a skirt no less!) to my appointment. It was so liberating to know that I could get around without my car.”
