Women’s March on Washington, DC – and Monterey County related activities

City of Monterey native Amanda Cole, currently a resident of Washington, DC, has bicycles for transportation at the ready.

Amanda and her friend Sierra Dehmler, a native of rural Monterey County who resides in Brooklyn, NY, was among those participating in the nonviolent Women’s March on Washington, DC on January 21.

Women’s rights are human rights. The mission and vision of this event are to “stand together in solidarity with our partners and children for the protection of our rights, our safety, our health, and our families—recognizing that our vibrant and diverse communities are the strength of our country.” Learn much more here.
