Women’s March on Washington, DC – and Monterey County related activities

City of Monterey native Amanda Cole, currently a resident of Washington, DC, has bicycles for transportation at the ready.
Amanda and her friend Sierra Dehmler, a native of rural Monterey County who resides in Brooklyn, NY, was among those participating in the nonviolent Women’s March on Washington, DC on January 21.

Amanda was also a peaceful presence on the streets of the nation’s capital on inauguration day. She was interviewed that day by Washington Post videographer Dalton Bennett: http://twitter.com/AccoleCole/status/822952148480753665

Others from Monterey County participating in the Women’s March on Washington included local resident and arts leader Paulette Lynch, 20th District Congressional Representative Jimmy Panetta, and many more.

There are many ways to help protect all that we love about our nation and planet.
