Giving? Remember Bicycling Monterey
Since May 2009, the Bicycling Monterey website and projects have been provided by the founder on an entirely volunteer basis. That is still the case as 2017 begins!
The Monterey Bay Tri-County Region does not yet have an official bicycle coalition or alliance, and Bicycling Monterey helps fill in that gap. That’s recognized by the California Bicycle Coalition, which lists Bicycling Monterey as a coalition ally and has further acknowledged this work in a Cal Bike Report.
The Bicycling Monterey work has also been recognized by
The League of American Bicyclists (“Bike League”), e.g., http://www.bikeleague.org/content/whyiride-seeing-world-anew
The Alliance for Biking and Walking, which honored Bicycling Monterey founder Mari Lynch as a national finalist for the Susie Stephens Joyful Enthusiasm award (click and scroll down).
Bicycling Monterey has also been acclaimed by many others!
Help Bicycling Monterey continue to make bicycling better for people who bike in Monterey County, and beyond. To give by PayPal or check—and for giving FAQs—click here.
Contributions in any amount are appreciated.
Thank you.
Thanks also to Erik Thurman, branch manager at the Andy Ausonio Library, the Castroville branch of Monterey County Free Libraries, for the photo at the top of this post. See Castroville Library: A Resource for People Who Bike to learn what’s up with that.
