We’re glad to be in Monterey County for Sea Otter Classic!
Local residents participate in and support this annual Celebration of Cycling in many ways. Among those…

Portobello chefs

Chef Miguel Xirum and his assistant, Martin Riquic
and other staff from HER Helmet Thursdays spots Portobello’s Rotisserie Cafe and Catering, and Zeph’s One Stop, Salinas

Stop in at Zeph’s One Stop next time you bike Salinas. Seated at Zeph’s wine bar, you can gaze at Salinas Valley fields where so much of America’s food is grown—like the spinach and many other ingredients in Portobello’s delicious salads, and in those quesadillas equally popular with LUNA Chix party-goers.

Whether partying or exploring Sea Otter Classic’s 447 vendor booths, North America’s largest bike expo is tantalizing and fun, as the folks in this gallery can attest. And Sea Otter is about even more! See our tips below.
