Monterey Bay Racing Team just put on a bike rodeo for a local school 11/15/13 (check it out here), and now they’re up to more good!
These racers know that “Toyland” is only a dream for a surprising number of children in Monterey County–their family budgets simply don’t allow toy shopping. So Monterey Bay Racing is on it! Join them.
This is also a great day to challenge yourself by riding with team members. What’s the fee? Bring an unwrapped toy!
Maybe you’ve enjoyed stargazing and more at Fremont Peak State Park but never biked that vicinity. Contact the team with your questions about the ride.
Whether you ride this day or not, swing on by to say howdy. Get acquainted with team members over coffee or hot chocolate from 8-8:30 a.m., while you drop off a toy to bring joy to a local child. Download PDF for details: MoBayRacing2013ToyDrive
Special thanks to the North Monterey County Fire Department AKA North County Fire Protection District of Monterey County for collecting and distributing the toys.
