Bike Buzz, Special Edition: Reports from Sea Otter Classic 2025
An estimated over 70,000* people attended Monterey County’s 2025 four-day Celebration of Cycling, Sea Otter Classic. This special edition of Bike Buzz shares viewpoints of some of those people in four posts, each with short videos.** Hear from women, youth, and first-time and long-time attendees. And in languages and countries, hear from people speaking languages other than English, and people visiting from other nations—along with a little history on why Spanish is so commonly spoken in Monterey County.
Sea Otter Classic here was launched in 1991, initially known as Laguna Seca Challenge. For some local SOC history and tips, click here. Mark your calendar for Sea Otter Classic 2026, scheduled for April 16-19. For details, visit https://seaotterclassic.com.
