Nov 7, 2018: TAMC Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee Meeting

For the consideration of committee members and others, Bicycling Monterey’s founder offers this input: 8 comments for 7 Nov 2018 bike ped mtg.(And note that earlier input was revised Nov 6th, with two updates: (1) Item #7 has an addition regarding a media reply received Nov 5th. (2) Another item was deleted; it had requested earlier notification of the availability of the current meeting’s agenda packet, because that notification had not been received as of Nov 4th for the Nov 7th meeting. That was not the case for all bike-ped committee members and interested others; most had received notification Oct 26th.)

Although not the case with these new Seaside racks, which were installed in conjunction with the City of Seaside’s development of its West Broadway Urban Village, TAMC’s bike-ped meetings do regularly discuss such topics as bicycle parking facilities.
