Celebrate Three: More Bicycle Infrastructure Improvements Coming! And Blanco Contract Awarded
CA Transportation Improvement Funds totaling nearly $15M have been accepted by the Monterey County Board of Supervisors, including funds for three bicycling infrastructure projects. And the Blanco Road bike lanes project is moving along, as reaffirmed by the Supervisors December 6, 2011. The contract has now been awarded, with a tentative construction start week established.
