Bike Week, May 9-15, 2011 – All activities are free
- April 4 – May 15 – Rusty, dusty bike? They’re making it easy: $10 bicycle safety check and minor tune-up from local bike shops. Get rolling!
- May 9-15 – Bike to Worship—to church, mosque, synagogue, or other place of worship
- May 9-15 – Dress-Up Challenge – Ride “dressed up” one or more days this week (for prizes, submit photo by May 14) – Prizes
- May 10 – Bike vs Car Challenge
- May 10 – Salinas – Bike to City Council meeting
- May 11 – Twilight Ride at Laguna Seca – free helmets to first 100 kids ages 18 and younger
- May 12 – Bike to Work/School Day, with free breakfasts – (for prizes, submit entry by May 27) – Prizes
- May 12 – HER Helmet Thursdays discounts (year-round price breaks on Thursdays, countywide, just because you ride a bike!)
- May 14 – Bike to the beach. No official Bike Week activity today? Keep yourself biking! Help Save Our Shores clean up, and get a free ticket to Monterey Bay Aquarium, valid June 4-5, as a thank you.
- May 15 –Morning Ride with Velo Club Monterey – 8 a.m.
- May 15 – Bike with Seaside Mayor Felix Bachofner – 9:30 a.m.
- May 15 – Seaside PAL Bike Fair – Bike rodeo, live entertainment, and more bikey happenings – free helmets to first 250 kids ages 18 and younger
- May 15 – Recreational Ride from Seaside to Monterey with City of Monterey Traffic Engineer Rich Deal – 4:30 p.m.
