We encourage biking or carpooling* to the June 24, 6-8pm kickoff meeting / workshop about the forthcoming update to the Monterey County Active Transportation Plan / El Plan de Transporte Activo del Condado de Monterey. This will be the first updated ATP since 2018. Active transportation refers to “human powered” or small, battery-assisted modes of travel, such as walking, biking, skating, or using mobility devices.

The June 24 event will be at Hartnell College in Salinas—411 Central Ave, Building D, Room 377. Is 6pm your usual supper time? Don’t let that keep you from attending; complimentary food will be served. RSVP in advance to help the organizer, Transportation Agency for Monterey County, plan on the number of expected in-person attendees. RSVP to attend in-person: https://forms.office.com/r/0tvy4UYSkp

Another option is to participate via Zoom. If participating via Zoom, use the following Zoom registration link: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/K57T0pEwTlWpAHMBeq7WkA
