Bicycling Monterey extends respect to everyone who takes time to inform themselves about candidates and issues, then votes according to their own beliefs and conscience.
Nov 7, 2018 update: Prop 6 was defeated (the majority of voters voted “No on Proposition 6”).

In addition to CalBike and TAMC, a statewide coalition of business, education, environment, infrastructure and transportation, labor, local government, public health, public interest, public safety, senior, social justice, and other organizations urge No on Proposition 6.
Those urging “No on Prop 6” from Monterey County include the following (just a partial list): Monterey County Board of Supervisors; Monterey County Mayors’ Association; cities of Carmel-by-the-Sea, King City, Marina, Monterey, Salinas, Sand City, Soledad; boards of Landwatch Monterey County, Monterey Bay Economic Partnership, Monterey-Salinas Transit.
