What people say indicates that the work of the Bicycling Monterey website and projects are widely appreciated. Fundraising, though, is not our strong suit! But you can help. Here’s how:

Whether or not you are personally able to make a financial contribution today, you can still help by sharing a link to this post on social media. Or, share Bicycling Monterey’s need for contributors when talking with your friends (e.g., “Did you know that for 14 years, Bicycling Monterey has been provided by an unpaid volunteer? And that total contributions since 2009—before expenses!—average only $3 per day? More people are needed to pitch in on this bicycling advocacy effort.”)

You may also wish to consider setting up an automatic monthly or yearly contribution. If everyone who values this work set up even a five or ten dollar ($5 or $10) automatic monthly contribution, and asked some friends to do the same, it would make a huge difference!

Whether or not you are personally able to bike at this time, when you support more people biking, that benefits individuals, communities, and the planet!
