Advocate in California: Preserve safe bikeways; address e-motos; reform Active Transportation Program

SB 569 (Blakespear) – Preserving Safe Bikeways. Creates a process a local agency must take to remove a bikeway or reduce the physical separation. Passed Assembly Transportation hearing June 29, headed to Assembly Floor in August.

SB 1167 (Blakespear) – Illegal e-motos. Unanimous passage into Assembly. Passed Assembly Transportation hearing June 29, headed to Assembly Appropriations in August.

AB 2168 (Wicks) – Active Transportation Program (ATP) Reform. Passed Senate Transportation hearing June 30, set for Senate Appropriations August 3.
