Hard-Pedaling Journalist Bikes Up an Appetite
Mark C. Anderson, Deputy Editor of the Monterey County Weekly, points out in his column published on Bike-to-Work/School Day, “Living for Today,” that life here is pretty sweet.
Mark worked up an appetite by biking to Moss Landing and was rewarded with a crab taco, “the perfect lite bite,” at Haute Enchilada Cafe, a HER Helmet Thursdays participant. Read more at Bike for Free Food and Adventures in Crab on Mark’s Special Edibles blog.
As Mark writes, not only are free breakfasts for cyclists in MoCo part of Bike Month here, there are great deals on food and more (lodging and entertainment/educational attractions) every Thursday, courtesy of the HER Helmet Thursdays participants.
