Free MST fares on Election Day, Nov 5, 2024

MONTEREY COUNTY and beyond, systemwide:

On Election Day, Tuesday, November 5, 2024, Monterey-Salinas Transit will be providing free fares. MST’s press release states:

“We understand that transportation can often be a barrier for many in our community, making it difficult to access polling locations. In an effort to ensure everyone has the opportunity to vote, MST is doing its part to remove as many obstacles as possible. 

“On this important day, we encourage all residents, regardless of their transportation needs or circumstances, to take advantage of MST’s free fares. Use our buses and transit options to reach your polling location and have your voice heard! Get out the vote!
