16th Anniversary, Bicycling Monterey – Alpha list of donors

Through May 31, 2025, names of additional donors
will be added to the 16th anniversary list below.

Bike Month is once a year, but the work of the Bicycling Monterey website and projects is ongoing, year-round. Maybe you’ve thought of donating and just haven’t gotten a round tuit. Please take that action now! For payment options, see how to donate. Other questions? See FAQs.

If your name is already on the list of all May 2009 – May 2025 donors, but you haven’t donated recently, we hope you’ll make another donation today.(Not sure when you last donated? See donations listed by year.)

Our dream: Many people setting up automatic monthly donations

In addition to welcoming one-time donations and occasional repeat donations, we also appreciate people who set up automatic monthly donations of $10 or more. More of these would be a big help in what’s possible for Bicycling Monterey to accomplish. Automatic annual donations are likewise welcome. You may cancel an automatic donation anytime, as noted in donation FAQs.

What people say indicates that this grassroots bike advocacy effort is widely appreciated. Invite others to join you in showing appreciation for this work by making a donation in this 16th anniversary month!

Our gratitude to the following for making one or more donations from May 2009 through May 2025. (May 1-31, 2025 donors will be added to the list below.)

  1. Founder, Bicycling Monterey says:

Hi. Thanks for your interest, Emmanuel. Please phone us with any questions or for more info: https://bikemonterey.org/contact-me.

Some years, Transportation Agency for Monterey County has organized “Bike Month” / May activities. This year they focused on social media posts about “Pedaling with Purpose.”

Over the past 16 years, Bicycling Monterey has organized Bike Month activities ranging from Dress-Up Challenge to Intergenerational Rides. This year, in addition to our usual projects and activities, we offered a pop-up social ride in May https://bikemonterey.org/bike-month-pop-up-event-may-4.html; subscribers received a heads-up via email.

Of course, for us, “Bike Month” is 12 months of the year! 🙂

  2. Emmanuel Maliwanag says:

Hello, did Monterey do anything for bike month or bike day? (I know Santa Cruz did a free breakfast thing)
    thanks
